online shopping - a bliss or curse ...my experience and recommendations

hello and welcome back ,

    when I started the blog I thought it will just be restricted to the topics mentioned, but slowly as I write more and more posts I realize there is so much more I want to share with you guys .well although it is an expansion of the topic ,that is fashion ,beauty and style ,it is as important from where and how we shop  .so today I am going to share my online shopping experience with you all.

    There is no doubt that with less time on hand, increased traffic ,parking problems poor return and exchange policies at retail counters is certainly making way for the online market.

         A few years back when a relative from abroad talked about the convenience of online shopping I wondered how can people buy things without actually seeing them, but how now I have turned into a total online shopping addict. I have shopped from various sites  like amazon , fashion and you,snap-deal, nykaa.com ,flipkart ,shop clues and most recently dulce cutoure.and my experience with all of them have been pretty good .
                               PROS OF ONLINE SHOPPING

#1.as the online store doesn't need space to display and store the stock it can cut the cost and pass the benefits to the consumer as reduced price.

#2.good return and refund policies,customers can get refunds within 15 days of purchase if they are not satisfied with the product

#3.online stores offer better deals and a person can compare prices at various online stores before buying the products.

#4.there are cash back offers on use of certain credit cards

#5.you can get product details,reviews and ratings from other customers.

#6.you can also buy products from other countries.

#7.on buying from a site regularly you get points which you can use against any product purchased site wide.

#8. fast shopping ,saves traffic hassles,parking issues, can compare various products easily
                                   CONS OF ONLINE SHOPPING
#1.cannot actually see the product before buying.

#2.have to pay for shipping .

#3.have to pay through credit/debit cards before receiving the product.sometimes cash on delivery is available but with an extra charge.

#4.some online stores act only as middlemen between sellers and buyers and do not take responsibility after the product is sold.

                  what prompted to write this article was my recent purchase which was so hassle free that I thought of sharing it with you all.I was just browsing through a friends instagram account when I saw some products she had got from a store namely dulce cutoure Ichecked out their online store and found some really interesting accessories like sunglasses , jewelry ,mobile covers ,cute stationary and many more accessories.I really liked a few things and some of them were on a good discount too. I placed the order online ,they offer cash on delivery and gave a 5% discount on registration. so on the whole it was an overall good deal .The team contacted me to confirm my order on watts app.and my products were delivered within 2 days. the packaging was good and when I opened the box other than my order it contained a hand written note , small note pad and a small box of candies as a sweet surprise.

          so I feel that online shopping is definitely a good option but it is important to see the sites return and refund policy. most of the sites give a stipulated time for exchange or refund, if the customer is not satisfied with the product.so order online and experience the joy of receiving a well packaged product which you can excitedly open as a self purchased gift. you can also get great offers and discount and various benefits like points which you can redeem against purchase of products. I am an online shopping addict who loves to receive her parcels..
     .....SOME GOOD NEWS FOR YOU GUYS....a lot of sites are having holi or women's day discount till 8 march ..such a pleasure being a woman .but what I feel is that a women's day is not restricted to a particular day but the whole year round . so go and enjoy your online shopping experience.
