INCREDIBLE INDIA -DELHI DARSHAN :- KINGDOM OF DREAMS
I am really sorry for the long gap since the last post ,
actually some family members were visiting us from abroad .but to
make up for the lost time I have something really interesting lined
up for you . I would be covering up some really nice places which
are a must see if you are visiting Delhi , India .Today I am going to
cover "the kingdom of dreams " which we visited recently . I was
compeletly in awe of the place and the way the beauty of the rich
varied culture of india has been pot rayed .Beautifully designed and
the various activities available do not let you get bored for even a
minute . It has been called India's first live entertainment , theatre
and leisure destination . There is an entrance ticket of INR 599 on
weekdays and INR 699 per person on weekends which are
completely redeemable against food /items purchased inside .

when you enter the gate you are greeted by huge stone idols of
elephants .beautifully carved and magnanimously huge and
intricately carved they welcome you with their trunks high up in the
air.As you soak up the beauty of the place ,you are greeted by the
traditional drummers in their bright yellow turbans , get some
pictures clicked with them . then you notice the ticket counters ,you
buy the tickets and enter through the security .

The beauty of the place leaves you awestruck . Iclicked a lot of
pictures. then you enter the culture gully which basically depicts
the whole of india in a room .There are food stalls which sell the
regional food of the different states . There are restaurants ,self
service food stalls , portrait makers ,tattoo makers , sand area for
kids to play ,stalls selling traditional items of various regions/states.
so basically it gives you an idea of the vast variety of the varied and
diverse culture of india in a day . It is not only great for foreigners
but also indians who have only read about india in books and not
been able to travel extensively . kids can relate to things they have
studied in books about the diverse culture of india . most beautiful
interiors and so colorful you can never click enough pictures to
cover the whole culture gully .

were not exorbitantly expensive as they are generally in such places
in the name of souvenirs . Then we ate vada pao from the mumbai
stall. There was so much variety that we were so confused about
what to eat and what not to eat . we didn't know where the time
flew by and in no time it was the time for our show .

we bought the tickets for the show zangoora .
The show is held at an theatre near the culture gully and it is
called the" NAUTANKI MAHAL".. at their website.
It has been described as the magic of indian cinema that
comes alive in a stunning ,electrifying, on -stage spectacle . It
includes indian culture combined with bollywood style storytelling
and entertainment with glitz and glamour packed content .There
are three options in the show : zangoora , jhumroo and wizwits
we saw zangoora ,which is the story of a gypsy prince .A few
years back we had seen a similar show by the name of "zaira" at the
venetian hotel Macau near honking .Frankly speaking I was
expecting something similar , it included singing , dancing ,acting
acrobatics.But zangoora outdid that show by any means .It was
completely international in standard and the whole experience was
once in a life-time experience ,the show was for 3 hrs with a 20 min
break in between .I completely loved the whole experience .

Though I did find the tickets expensive but the show was worth
every penny spent .we spend so much when we travel abroad
and here is such a magnificent place in india itself .
